2000 Likes on Facebook!!! Whatttt?!!!! Thank you to all of the sweet amazing people who liked my page! I want to share with you one of my favorite recipes!!! It's a recipe for Cream Cheese Icing!!! I actually tweaked this recipe and made the "Salty Cream Cheese" filling on Cake Wars that got some serious raves from the judges!! So, anyway, here it is! Hope you love it!
24 ounces (3 - 8 ounce packages) cream cheese, room temperature
2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt (for salty cream cheese do 1 teaspoon of salt or fleur de sel)
Beat the cream cheese and butter together until they are beautifully incorporated and fluffy! Slowly add the powdered sugar, remember to scrape the bowl as you mix ;) Then, add the vanilla extract and fleur de sel until they are completely mixed in. Viola!!! Simple. Easy. DELISH.
